Know the urgent warning signs
In pregnancy and in the year after birthing, get medical care right away if you have:

- Dizziness or fainting
- Changes in your vision
- A fever of 100.4 degrees or higher
- Extreme swelling of your hands or face
- Trouble breathing
- Chest pain or a fast beating heart
- Severe nausea and vomiting
- Severe belly pain that does not go away
- Your baby moving less than usual during pregnancy
- Bleeding or leaking fluid
- Swelling, redness, or pain in one leg or arm

Tell them you are pregnant or have birthed within the last year, name your symptoms, and ask to be checked. In an emergency, call 911.
